A Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant® with 20 years of experience, Rich is a senior member of the Advanced Planning Strategies TaFx Team, helping planners and clients identify tax planning opportunities that can help them achieve their financial goals.

Rich joined Edelman Financial Engines in 2021 and has experience in real estate, private equity and high-net-worth advising. Previously, he held analyst and tax manager roles at Intuit and Deloitte, where he worked on many IPOs and investment partnerships.

Rich enjoys helping people understand federal taxation and embraces the opportunity to teach and mentor. He considers himself a tax geek at heart and continues his own learning journey to further develop his tax technical skills and hopefully inspire the next generation of tax accountants. Rich is passionate about helping clients navigate the complex and evolving tax world so they have the opportunity to save money and enjoy a better retirement.

Rich earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and information systems from Queens College and a Master of Science degree in taxation from Baruch College.
